Ice chunks

I was going to gripe about GPS software and the incompatibility of programs between NatGeo TOPO! and Garmin and Trimble Outdoors, but I’ll sleep on it rather than write a visceral post. Just suffice to say I’m steamed.

Let’s close out the day with a killer video from Gravsports. Top notch climbers Will Glad and Ben Firth set out to conquer what the Titanic couldn’t – North Atlantic icebergs. The pair pursue what I’m sure most ice climbers only dream of – sailing off the Labrador coast to scale the sides of frozen ice chunks in the ocean.

Special thanks to the Adventure Blog for pointing this one out.

Hi Dave, I’m on the Trimble Outdoors team and would like to understand better what incompatibility you are referring to. Please take a moment to send me an email with details or reply via this blog. Thanks!

Hi Michelle. Thanks for stopping by and all the good work Trimble does. You can thank the folks at Gravsports for the video, not to mention the intrepid climbers.
